The parish centre is a place of both education and leisure. These are two points which must not be separated; 2 points that are associated in a particular manner to the teenagers of our village.
Regarding teaching, we can say that every Friday night at 8.00 pm many youths of our village meet in the parish centre so that they can attend to the assembly of formation. These normally begin and proceed throughout the scholastic year, but we can say that they continue even in summer. These assemblies are mainly addressed to youths of 12 years or older (from Form2 and older). Since this year was encouraging, we felt that we had to divide the group into two smaller ones so that everyone can receive as much as possible from these meetings. The themes approached during these meetings are different, themes which the same youths must face with them in everyday’s life.
On the other hand, there is the other aspect of leisure. We mostly see this aspect in the activities held by both the group and the parish centre itself. These activities help the youths to increase the friendship between them and also their talents. This can be clearly seen through the evenings mostly brought up the GSM Productions and even by the outings of the same group.
From our side, everyone must feel free to come and enjoy himself at the parish centre. Dear youths, we hope you continue to attend regularly to the educational meeting. We hope that you continue to keep your appointment with us as usual every Friday night at 8.00pm where together we can continue to learn so that we can form a strong character and solid Christian values.
